Grant Vocks is a Technical Director and Draftsperson originally from Austin, Texas who currently lives in Berkeley, California. Grant received his BFA in Technical Direction from The Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. He has been working as the Draftsperson at Berkeley Repertory Theatre since July of 2022.

He has chosen a career in technical direction because he enjoys managing a variety of areas within the field, managing cross departmental projects, and coordinating schedules and budgets.

Grant enjoys working as an Assistant or Associate Technical Director, Technical Director, and Draftsperson in a fast paced environment doing either large scale theatrical productions, concerts, or repertory productions. 

Grant likes to keep himself busy in his spare time by watching some his favorite tv shows such as Parks and Recreation or the Office and hiking.
